Authorities say the suspect, a Palisades Park man, allegedly admitted to that attack plus multiple rock-throwing and trespassing incidents in Bogota, and he is now held in Bergen County Jail pending a detention hearing.

Older brother of PGA Tour's Brandt Snedeker charts his own path in golf (usatoday.com) — Paramus gets a brief spotlight as the site of The Ridgewood Country Club, where amateur golfer Haymes Snedeker once teed it up in the 2022 U.S. Amateur. Ulster County man and brother indicted for allegedly stealing $90K in emergency rental program (midhudsonnews.com) — A man identified as being from Paramus has been indicted alongside his brother from Woodstock, New York, in an alleged $90,000 Emergency Rental Assistance fraud case. State officials say the pair submitted a falsified application to obtain pandemic rent relief funds, and both now face charges including grand larceny, money laundering, and filing a false instrument.
